Visit at 110 kV Sub-Station, Paruthipara
The Commission organized a one-day visit to the 110kV Substation in Paruthipara ,the oldest substation in TVM . It has four incoming and two outgoing 110 kV feeders with two 63MVA and three 20MVA transformers . The substaion supply powers in 66kV and 11kV ratings to various parts of TVM. Also 30 kW solar unit is installed .
State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC) Visit
We interns got the opportunity to visit SLDC kalamassery. It was a great opportunity to get to know more about the scheduling and dispatching of Electricity within the state. We saw the live monitoring of grid operation. They gave us a clear knowledge about the it’s functioning and operations.
